My experience with this laundry was extremely disappointing, and honestly, the way I was treated was unacceptable. I contacted them through WhatsApp and asked them to pick up my clothes from the hotel, wash and iron them, and return them to me urgently. The employee told me that it would take 1–2 hours just for them to come and collect the clothes. I wanted to save time, so I decided to bring the clothes to the shop myself, expecting this would make the process faster and easier for everyone. However, when I arrived at the shop, I was shocked to find that the prices were suddenly three times higher than the prices I was given over the phone. I asked the employee why the price was different, and he simply said: “Because you need it urgently.” I explained that these prices were never mentioned to me during the phone call. Instead of giving me a clear explanation, he started making excuses and going around in circles. Then he told me: “No problem, we can wash them for the same price we gave you over the phone, but there will be no delivery, and you can collect them after one hour.” I explained that I could not do that because I needed the clothes delivered back to my hotel. His response was: “Then you have to spend at least AED 100 for us to deliver them.” So basically, if you bring your clothes to the shop yourself, you get one price. But if you need delivery, the price suddenly increases dramatically simply because you are in a hurry. I completely understand that urgent services or delivery may have additional charges. But telling a customer one price and then increasing it to three times the amount after they arrive at the shop, simply because they are in a hurry, is completely unprofessional and unacceptable. If you have different prices for urgent service or delivery, they should be clearly communicated to the customer before the customer comes to the shop, not after they have already arrived. I strongly recommend that management review how customers are being treated. This kind of behavior does not build customer trust — it drives customers away.
