Your business information should be right, and you should have a say in how it appears. This page explains how to claim a listing, correct mistakes, or ask us to remove a listing on AlBarsha1.ae.
1. Claim Your Business Listing
Claiming a listing lets you manage the details, add photos, and reply to reviews. It is free.
Who can claim
The owner of the business or someone officially authorized to act for it, such as a manager or marketing agent.
How to claim
- Find your business on AlBarsha1.ae. If it isn’t there, add it first.
- Click the claim option on the listing page, or email info@albarsha1.ae with the subject line “Claim Listing”.
- Tell us your name, your role in the business, the listing link, and your business phone number or email.
- Complete our verification.
How we verify ownership
To protect businesses from impersonation, we may ask for one or more of the following:
- A valid trade license or business registration
- An email address on your business domain (for example, name@yourbusiness.ae)
- A short verification code sent to your business phone number or email
- A letter of authorization, if you are acting for the owner
What happens next
We aim to review claims within 7 business days. Once verified, you’ll be able to update your listing and respond to reviews. If we can’t verify you, we will explain why and what else we need.
Ownership disputes
If two people claim the same business, we will ask both for proof and will decide based on the documents. Until it is settled, we may limit edits to the listing.
2. Correct Wrong or Outdated Information
Anyone can tell us about a mistake, such as a wrong phone number, old opening hours, or an incorrect address.
Email info@albarsha1.ae with the subject line “Correction Request” and include:
- The link to the listing
- What is wrong
- What it should say
- If you are the business owner, please tell us so
We usually fix simple corrections within a few business days. For bigger changes, we may ask for proof.
3. Ask for a Listing to Be Removed
We can remove a listing if:
- You are the owner or an authorized representative and no longer want the listing
- The business has permanently closed
- The listing is a duplicate
- The listing is fake, or it breaks our Listing Guidelines
How to request removal
Email info@albarsha1.ae with the subject line “Removal Request” and include:
- The link to the listing
- Your name and role in the business
- The reason for the request
- Proof of your connection to the business (see verification options above)
We aim to respond within 7 business days. Once approved, the listing is usually removed from our site right away. It may take some time for search engines like Google to stop showing it. We can’t control how quickly that happens.
4. Reviews and Comments
Removing a listing doesn’t always remove the reviews written by customers, and owners can’t delete reviews just because they are negative. If you think a review breaks our rules, follow the steps in our Review and Content Moderation Policy.
5. Personal Data Requests
If you want to see, correct or delete personal data we hold about you (not a business), please read our Privacy Policy and email us with the subject line “Privacy Request”.
