in the last weekI am a property investor and I have never experienced this with another developer (fair enough I avoid the other ones that I know are beyond bad but still). The buying process was a huge pain and took forever because Deyaar handed over the building without it being done. So the transition from under construction to completion was insanely long. However, the snagging process? Beyond unacceptable! They said it would take 45-60 days (I know insane right?!) to rectify the snagging comments but we are over even the 60 days and only 30% max was done! The unit is NOT ready for handover and the work is so bad. Everything is scratched, sink, stove, splash area etc. Outside panels are scratched and dented. Bathrooms have rost and are terrible too. All switches are dirty, ceilings are uneven and the unit is way smaller than registered. You dont get responses from them, no urgency, no support. I attached the status of the unit. If you want quality or customer service, dont go for them. Beyond disappointed and until this day wait for proper handover, even tho I already paid the WHOLE property!

a week agoI initially left a positive review following my handover experience, particularly because of the assistance provided by Ms. Salsabil. Unfortunately, my experience with Deyaar has deteriorated significantly since then. Ms. Salsabil was initially helpful, but when I subsequently encountered problems and sought her assistance, I found her considerably less supportive. During my most recent attempt to contact her, my call was declined and I received a busy notification. This was particularly disappointing given the positive experience I had previously acknowledged. **My biggest concern is the excessive and unexplained chiller billing.** Nationwide commenced charging me from 30 April 2026, despite my snagging appointment being scheduled for 24 June and my handover appointment for 20 August. One invoice alone reached **AED 733.46 for a one-bedroom apartment**, covering a period largely before my scheduled handover. The total outstanding chiller charges reached **AED 1,286.41**. Despite repeatedly requesting clarification, I have not received a satisfactory explanation of how these charges were calculated, the supporting meter readings or documentation establishing the contractual Completion Date applicable to my unit. Instead, I received general responses referring to the building completion date. The lack of coordination between Deyaar and Nationwide has made what should have been a straightforward handover process unnecessarily frustrating. I have been left dealing with different departments without anyone taking clear ownership of the issues. **My main concerns are the unexplained chiller charges, lack of billing transparency, inadequate customer support and poor coordination between departments.** I expect Deyaar's senior management to take responsibility for resolving these matters rather than passing customers between different entities within the same group.
