Copyright and DMCA Takedown Policy

Last updated: September 21, 2026

We respect the rights of writers, photographers, businesses and other creators, and we expect our users to do the same. This page explains how to report content on AlBarsha1.ae that you believe infringes your copyright, and how we handle those reports.

Our Content

The design, layout, logo and original text on AlBarsha1.ae belong to us or our licensors. You may not copy, republish or sell our content without written permission. You are welcome to link to our pages.

User Content

Users and businesses can upload text, photos and other material. When they do, they confirm that they own it or have permission to use it. We don’t check every upload before it appears, and we act when we receive a valid complaint.

How to Report Copyright Infringement

If you believe something on our site copies your work without permission, please send a written notice to info@albarsha1.ae with the subject line “Copyright Notice”. This process follows UAE copyright law (Federal Decree-Law No. 38 of 2021 on Copyright and Neighboring Rights) and, where it applies, the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

Your notice should include:

  1. Your name, address, email and phone number
  2. A description of your work that you say has been copied, with a link to the original if it is online
  3. The exact link(s) to the content on our site that you want removed
  4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by you, the copyright owner or the law
  5. A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act for the owner
  6. Your electronic or physical signature

Incomplete notices may delay our response.

What We Do When We Receive a Notice

  • We review the notice, usually within 7 business days.
  • If it is valid, we will remove or disable access to the content.
  • We may tell the person who posted the content that it was removed and give them a copy of the notice.

Counter-Notice

If your content was removed and you believe it was a mistake or that you have the right to use it, you may send a counter-notice to info@albarsha1.ae with the subject line “Counter-Notice”. Please include:

  1. Your name, address, email and phone number
  2. The link to the removed content and where it appeared before removal
  3. A statement that you believe in good faith that the content was removed by mistake or misidentification
  4. A statement that you agree to the legal process of the courts that have authority over your location
  5. Your signature

If the person who filed the original notice doesn’t take legal action within a reasonable period, we may restore the content.

Repeat Infringers

Users who repeatedly infringe copyright may lose their posting rights or have their accounts closed.

Please Report in Good Faith

Making a false copyright claim can have legal consequences, including responsibility for damages. If you’re not sure whether something is infringing, consider speaking to a lawyer before sending a notice.

Trademark and Other Concerns

For problems that aren’t about copyright, such as privacy, defamation or wrong business details, please use our Review and Content Moderation Policy or Claim, Correct or Remove a Listing page.
